As a child David knew he was different from other children, often he was visited by spirit people, who seemed to help and guide him, especially through difficult times. He never felt threatened by spirit visits, but had a sense and feeling of warmth, comfort.

David remembers his grandmother (Caroline Golden) paying him a visit after a car accident, letting him know it was not his time to leave the physical world. He served as a member of the British Army for a period of twelve years, and during those years David experienced spirit presence. He sensed a spirit soldiers around him, especially at the time of combat. As a leader of men, he knew they were protected from the unseen guests and he always followed his instincts even in times of difficult decision to be made and orders to follow.
