Golden Gate Society is a home circle established in 2010 by a group of dedicated sitters. The circle starts at 730pm every Tuesday in Littleborough, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Even though we are in our infancy, we have received some remarkable evidence from our friends in the spirit world. This is logged for future reference.
Physical Phenomena
The simplest and most primitive forms of psychic phenomena are of a physical nature. The special characteristic of physical phenomena is that the effects produced can be perceived by the physical senses so that those who witness such phenomena can have no doubts. A common feature for most, or almost all, types of physical phenomena is the need for a supply of ectoplasm which is supplied by a physical medium. Spirit operators take ectoplasm from the medium and the sitters.
In May 2009, I had a message from the spirit operators to construct a room for physical medium-ship development and was directed to convert my brick built shed at the rear of the house. I did not act on this until I received further instructions from the spirit operators. I travelled to Wisconsin, United States of America to conduct clairvoyance for a period of two months and during those months I had no further mention from spirit regarding physical medium-ship.
Back in the Uk, again the thought of converting my shed into a séance room for development of physical medium-ship. Dec 2009 I started to construct the shed into a séance room this had taken me one week and during that time I had the sense of contentment and the spirit operators kept drawing close as if watching over me. I have always maintained meditation is the iron maiden of prayer and it is important for every spirit medium or psychic to meditate. I meditate at least three times per week between 30-45 minutes.
We started our first sitting on 11th Jan 2010 after 3 months we had experiences with spirit noises, (tapping's). We conducted our sitting in complete darkness and spirit lights were seen. Some of the sitters reported they felt spirit presence around them. I experienced twitching on my chin and my throat area, to the extent it made my eyes water. Six months on we had spirit speaking through my voice box, must admit I was aware of my surroundings. They were muffled sounds at first then quiet talking, a spirit male spoke and went on to say, he was in the Army and his name is "Raymond". A full detailed occurrence has been recorded in our log book for the circle.
In July 2010, the circle had to split up due to people within the group started to change the condition by, let's say "some circle members started to feel uncomfortable with one another". This was not good for physical phenomena development. Every member needs to be in harmony with each other and all sending their thoughts to the physical medium. I decided to end the circle at this point.
During the two months of no circle I continued to sit for my spirit operators and during one of my meditations spirit told me that the first circle was a trial period and it was difficult for them to work with the group at that time. Spirit operators were grateful to the circle member for their time and efforts.

In Oct 2010, a newly formed physical circle was formed and for the first few weeks we all sat in meditation to let our energies blend together and for spirit operators to also get used to the new energies. I was aware of spirit presence at each of the sittings and the new members were visited by the spirit operators.
I was instructed by the spirit operators that the circle was ready to start to work all together and a controller was selected. I had the same symptoms when sitting in our previous circle. This confirmed to me that we were ready to work and sit for physical phenomena and I was the physical medium.
At one of our sittings I felt my hand being touched and the left side of my body. I felt a spirit presence over-shadowing me and was forced to sit upright in a military fashion. A spirit male, said his name "Raymond", and that he was in the Army. He went on to say "why are you all sat in the dark"? I felt spirit Raymond using my eyes to look around the circle. He then went away and the over-shadowing feeling had gone. I was aware of everything around me and realised it was nearly time for the circle to end.
Later that evening before retiring to bed, I check my emails and for some reason I was directed to my old email account which I seldom use. There were several messages from people advertising; one by one I deleted them, until a message from a male named "Peter". I opened this message and it was about a lady "Jo Bradley", talking about physical medium-ship. I clicked on Peters name, it opened a page named "Spirit Bond", I scrolled down his page and to a photograph of a male wearing an Army uniform and his name "Raymond".
I feel this spirit chap was the same spirit Raymond who had visited our circle previously and his presence again was the same feelings I had before. I don't know a Peter, Jo Bradley or Spirit Bond.
Spirit operators one way or another will get your attention to get their message across. We are aware there will be many more sittings, sometimes without any indication from spirit. However, we know a lot of work is still being done by our spirit operators and we are looking forward to working on the behalf of all spirit whether incarnate or discarnate.
